Ephesus, and back before all-aboard
A private vehicle from the terminal, a licensed English-speaking guide and lunch, from €29 per person with a minimum of two guests. Send us your ship and date and we confirm your all-aboard time in writing before you pay anything.
Ephesus is about 20 km from Ege Port, roughly 25 minutes by road each way. That short transfer is why a port call of six hours or more is comfortable for the full tour.
How much time ashore do I need for Ephesus?
Around six hours from the moment you step off the ship covers Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary and lunch, with the transfers and the all-aboard call accounted for. Four to five hours is enough for Ephesus on its own.
Where do I meet the guide after I get off the ship?
At the Starbucks by the cruise terminal. It is the landmark operators in the port meet at, which is why we use it — you do not have to find an unmarked car among the coaches. From there it is a few steps out to the vehicle, which waits in the lay-by just outside. Exact meeting details are confirmed in writing with your booking.
Will I get back before all-aboard?
We plan the return around your ship's all-aboard time, not ours, and confirm that time in writing before you book. On calls where the ship sails too early, we say so rather than rush the day.
Are the museum entrance fees included?
No. Ephesus Ancient City is €40 per person in 2026 and the House of the Virgin Mary is about €14, both paid on site. The tour price covers the vehicle, the licensed guide and lunch.
